Successful people dig-in and solve their own problems. Whether it’s increasing your revenue stream or completing your literary masterpiece the time, effort, and energy you put in to complete your work is your most precious resource.
Don’t waste your life (time x effort x energy) on fads or in a race to become an average and mundane brand that brands average distractions to keep people average. Offer more value, more connections, more creativity than anyone else. Be the artist who creates their dreams and solves the problems that change the world.
Believe that you can do it and stay focused until the task is done. The alternative, pecking and scrolling the hours away into your cell phone isn’t as awesome getting out there and completing the challenge.
Challenges will return again and again on your journey to greatness, so remember the processes that helped you get through your tough times.
We all know that despite the forecast or any weather predictions, a storm can appear randomly on any day.
When you write down the process that helped you remain focused during the storm. You create a pathway through chaos that you can use again and again to thrive during difficult circumstances.
Whether it is a soundtrack of motivational speeches, a playlist with epic music, or a walk around the block with deep focused breathing (these are mine). Discover your own process to get you through any problem. What works for you may not work for others, and no matter the method, kick grass while doing it.
Rinse and repeat your steps, and stow it away like your umbrella for greatness.
The day is yours!
After endlessly searching for the next magic bullet to make your business better or refurbish your mental focus, you’ll probably find that you’ve had what you needed all along.
To the searchers, I tell you to keep searching. For those that lack confidence, I tell you to keep searching. For those that believe happiness and joy are products and tools some else has, keep searching.
All the things that will drive you to be your best are right where they have always been, inside you. The caveat is learning and using knowledge to inform your on your quest, but the attitude, the persistence, and the vision for greatness is right where it has always been, inside you.
Don’t take the easy choice.
Make the big decision that changes your life forever.
When you fill your day with tasks and obligations that divert you from your purpose, even if the tasks are positive and helpful to others, anger and resentment are built within your heart because you aren’t living up to or fulfilling your true purpose.
Find a way to do what you love everyday. Find a way for your dreams, your vision, your purpose to flourish everyday.
This will deepen the love within you. You will grow in love. And in turn, you can share your gifts of love, generosity, kindness and gratitude, without hurting yourself in the exchange.
Focus on your work that makes the world beautiful. Leave the fear behind. Make magic.
Breathe. Go slow when you have to, fast when you can. No matter what, get moving, go now
The frenzy we can work ourselves into by spreading our resources thinner and thinner to achieve a better profit can be an exciting proposition.
We trade quality for quantity and metrics drive us in a race to same and similar to meet the easiest standard, more.
We probably began our journey, because we wanted to be unique. We desired something different, and we were looking for a change to the norm.
Your goals, right now, should be no different. You just have to remember the difficult goal that spurred you to begin in the first place, and you will stumble upon the remarkable aspects of your journey to achieve your best each day.
I bet you didn’t start because it would be easy. You wanted to be different, remarkable, you wanted to add value and make the world a better place.
Don’t get lost in vanity metrics. Seek real connections. Share words that matter, and generate an impact with your authentic voice.
The real you matters. The ultimate goal is getting closer. Stick to your plan, and build trust with yourself, every day.
Guard your mindset with deeply focused mediation and controlled breathing practices. You will open gateways and doors to your inner calm that you never expected.
